Toledo Fight

Toledo, Ohio — Police say a disagreement among adults attending a kindergarten graduation ceremony at Queen of Apostles School turned violent Thursday morning, forcing the event to be postponed.

According to investigators, the incident began during an argument involving seating inside the school on Courtland Avenue. The situation escalated into a fight involving several adults before officers arrived.

Authorities arrested 28-year-old Jessica Anderson in connection with the altercation. She is facing a charge of felonious assault.

One person, identified by police as a 26-year-old adult, suffered a head injury and was transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.

Officials with Central City Ministries said children were not inside the room at the time the fight occurred.

School administrators later postponed the kindergarten graduation ceremony and are planning to reschedule the event at a later date.
