WATERVILLE, Ohio — The streets of downtown Waterville will come alive with music and community spirit on Saturday, August 16, as Oliver Hazard Day returns for an evening packed with Americana and indie folk performances. Presented by hometown favorites Oliver Hazard, the single-day festival will run from 4:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on historic Third Street, just off old Route 24.

This year’s lineup includes:

  • Oliver Hazard – Local folk-pop favorites and festival hosts
  • Rayland Baxter – Nashville-based singer-songwriter blending folk, rock, and country influences
  • Michigander – Indie rock with a heartland sensibility
  • Rett Madison – Soulful Americana rising star
  • DJ Jon Zenz – Spinning between sets to keep the crowd energized

Tickets are $30 and available now at oliverhazardday.com. Children 10 and under get in free with a ticket-holding adult. While alcohol will be served, all music will be family-friendly, and parents are encouraged to bring wagons and chairs for comfort.

Festival organizers note that “family-friendly” is interpreted loosely, as parenting styles vary, but past events have welcomed many children with great success.
