Rossford, Ohio – Rossford High School has implemented a new security system for its football games, using advanced artificial intelligence technology to enhance safety.
The school introduced the Evolv security system, which uses AI to detect weapons without the need for invasive procedures like emptying pockets or removing items. This system can screen up to 2,000 people per hour, significantly improving efficiency while maintaining security.
The technology, funded through grants, is part of a broader effort by the school to prioritize the safety of students and event attendees. Along with this system, Rossford has also enacted a no large bag policy at games to further safeguard the environment.
This AI-based system is already in use at major venues like NFL stadiums and other large public spaces, underscoring its reliability. Fans attending games are encouraged to arrive early as the system adjusts to its first use at sporting events.
