Hamler, OH – A train derailment in the heart of Hamler has forced the closure of State Route 109. The Ohio Department of Transportation reports that traffic is being rerouted to State Route 18 to bypass the affected area.
Fortunately, there are no reports of injuries or significant damage, but clearing the site is expected to take time. Officials have yet to provide an estimated timeline for reopening the route. Updates will follow as more information becomes available.
