GRAND RAPIDS, OH – The Grand Rapids Town Hall Committee and Historical Society will host the Honey Creek Preservation Jazz Band on Saturday, April 5, at 7:00 p.m. in the historic Grand Rapids Town Hall.
Specializing in Dixieland jazz from the early 1900s, the band was formed nearly 20 years ago by Bill Genson for a centennial event in Melmore, Ohio. Named after a local creek, the group includes Genson on cornet, Jeff Kopmanis on clarinet, Mark Stewart on trombone, Wes Linenkugel on bass, Morgan Humecky on banjo, and Sherry Humecky on dulcimer.
Tickets are $10, available at the Village Orchard in Grand Rapids or at the door, with proceeds benefiting Town Hall renovations. The venue continues to host a variety of events, including comedy shows, theatrical productions, and musical performances.
Enjoy a night of classic jazz in one of Grand Rapids’ historic landmarks!
