The Village of Grand Rapids has officially announced Trick-Or-Treating will be Saturday, October 28 from 4p until 6p, with activities beginning at the Grand Rapids Township Fire Station at 6:30p. (More details soon.)
The Grand Rapids Arts Council will also be hosting the 4th Annual Ghostly Gilead Drive-By Decorating Contest. Residents in the Village of Grand Rapids are encouraged to decorate their yard or business for Fall or Halloween. Winners will be announced on social media. No sign up is required. Categories this year include spookiest, most creative, funniest, best overall theme, and judge’s favorite.
The Grand Rapids Chamber is presenting “A Little Bit of Hocus Pocus” on Saturday, October 21 beginning at 11a. Stores and restaurants will be getting in on the fun with costume contests, bewitching photo spaces, music, food, and drinks. Plus a caramel apple sundae bar, kid’s crafts, trunk or treat, Halloween costume contest, Chinese auction with all proceeds going to Hospice of NW Ohio, Pumpkin Painting, and more!
The Wood County Sheriff’s Office will be hosting its 5th annual Trunk or Treat on Monday, October 23 from 6p until 7:30p. Local law enforcement agencies will be lining the sheriff’s office parking lot at 1960 East Gypsy Lane in Bowling Green. Squad cars will be decorated and you’re invited to wear your costume, bring the kids, and get free candy.
