Weston, Ohio – The Village of Weston is inviting residents to step up and serve their community by filling an open seat on the Village Council. This position, with a term lasting until December 31, 2027, offers a unique chance to contribute to local governance and help shape the village’s future.
The council is looking for a qualified candidate who meets these requirements:
- At least 18 years old
- A registered voter
- A Weston resident for at least one year
The new council member will be expected to attend bi-weekly council meetings held on the first and third Mondays of each month at 6 p.m., as well as participate in various committee meetings as necessary.
Residents interested in serving are encouraged to submit a statement of interest, including relevant personal information, to the village clerk at clerk@westonohio.org. Applications must be received by Friday, December 13, 2024.
The council will review submissions and select a candidate to assume the position by January 1, 2025.
