On the night of Friday, September 26, 2025, the century-old Toledo Club will open its doors to paranormal enthusiasts for an immersive overnight experience known as the Haunters Hunt. Hosted by Gathering of Kingdoms, LTD, this event invites participants to explore the storied halls of one of Toledo’s most iconic private clubs, offering an opportunity to blend historical education with hands-on ghost hunting.
Founded in 1889, the Toledo Club has stood as a symbol of elegance and tradition in downtown Toledo. The current clubhouse, built in 1915 and located at 235 14th Street, has long been associated with both prestige and mystery. Its neoclassical architecture, dark wood interiors, and winding staircases have made it a favorite for weddings, galas—and now, paranormal exploration.
The Haunters Hunt will begin at 9:00 PM with a guided historical tour of the building, highlighting its architecture, notable members, and lesser-known tales from its past. Attendees will then have overnight access to the first three floors of the club, where they can quietly investigate the property using their own ghost-hunting equipment.
Participants are encouraged to maintain a respectful, quiet environment to ensure optimal conditions for capturing potential paranormal activity. Tools such as EMF detectors and spirit boxes are welcome, while summoning devices such as Ouija boards or ritual circles are not permitted due to noise and interference concerns.
A designated quiet room will be available for guests wishing to rest during the night, and light snacks and bottled drinks will be provided. This is an adults-only event (18+), and no alcohol will be served or permitted. Guests are free to leave at any time during the overnight experience, which concludes at 6:00 AM the following morning.
Parking is free on-site in the Toledo Club lot near the sliding glass doors. Attendees are advised to wear comfortable shoes and be prepared to navigate stairs, as elevator access may be limited to preserve the historic nature of the event.
Tickets are $50 per person, plus a small processing fee, and are non-refundable.
