River Rat Country is taking part in Jūpmode’s 2026 Here for Good campaign, giving listeners a chance to support independent radio while picking up a limited-time shirt.
The fundraiser helps support the stations operated by NWO Community Media, including River Rat Country, 98.7 Towpath Radio, and Sweet 419. Funds raised through the campaign help cover music licensing, streaming costs, and other daily operating expenses required to keep the stations running. Shirts are just $20 with $10 being donated to River Rat Country’s operations costs.

River Rat Country is built around the idea of true listener-first radio, featuring country music that reflects rural life and the communities that make up Northwest Ohio.
The project operates almost entirely on volunteer effort, and behind the scenes the day-to-day work is handled by just one person. Because of that, the stations rely heavily on listener support instead of traditional advertising sales.
Purchasing a shirt through the Here for Good program is one of the easiest ways listeners can help support the station and keep independent streaming radio alive.
Jūpmode launched the Here for Good program during the 2020 lockdown as a way to help organizations and small businesses raise money online. Since then, the initiative has generated more than $423,000 for over 1,000 organizations and individuals.
The 2026 Here for Good pre-sale runs March 2 through March 22, and River Rat Country supporters can grab the limited edition shirt during that window.
