The Historic Grand Rapids Garden Walk is on Saturday, June 22 (rain date Sunday, June 23) from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Tickets are $20 prior to the event, $25 (cash only) on the day of. Tickets can be purchased at GrandGrowers.com.
This self-guided walk will take you through personal gardens showcasing Perennials, Annuals, Native Plants and Vegetables. Along the way you will pass homes and businesses listed on the Ohio Historic Register and several other points of interest including the TLE&W Motorcar Bridge Train, the Canal Boat Ride and Ludwig Mill (all open to the public). On Front Street you will have the opportunity to vote for the “People’s Choice Award” for best container gardens created by local businesses.
Tickets include 15 garden stops, historic sites, complementary refreshments, gift basket raffle entry ($300 value), first pick of the season at Garden View Flowers ($15 value), and an opportunity to shop and dine in the Victorian Village of Grand Rapids, Ohio.
