GRAND RAPIDS, OH — The Historical Society of Grand Rapids has announced the return of its much-loved Rhythm on the River concert series for 2025, bringing a diverse lineup of live music to the scenic Towpath at the MJ Wright Pavilion.
This year’s free concert series kicks off at 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 15, and continues throughout the summer and early fall with performances that span folk, jazz, big band, chamber music, and more.
The full Rhythm on the River 2025 schedule includes:
- June 15 – Megan Bee (Folk/Americana)
- July 20 – Lake Effect Clarinet Quartet (Chamber Music)
- July 27 – SeaJamz7 (Jazz/Blues/Rock)
- August 10 – Birds of a Feather Sing Together (Jazz/Big Band/Easy Listening)
- August 24 – North Coast Big Band (Jazz/Swing/Big Band)
- September 14 – Ginger and the Snaps (Rock/Folk)
- September 21 – Lincoln Street Therapy (Country/Classic Hits)
- October 5 – Otsego Swing Choir & Otsego Marching Band (Local Student Talent Showcase)
The series is a longstanding tradition in Grand Rapids, offering a family-friendly atmosphere along the picturesque Maumee River. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy an afternoon of great music and community spirit.
