BOWLING GREEN, Ohio (Jan. 26, 2026) — All Wood County government buildings are closed Monday due to inclement weather, officials announced.
The Board of County Commissioners said the closure affects all county offices and departments. Employees who work in 24-hour operations or whose duties are required during emergencies should consult their supervisors for specific reporting instructions.
Essential services, including law enforcement, emergency response, and other continuous operations, will continue as scheduled.
The announcement follows ongoing winter weather conditions impacting northwest Ohio, prompting several area agencies to reduce or suspend operations for safety reasons.
Updates on county operations will be shared through official communication channels as conditions develop.
