NBC has announced that its upcoming special, Opry 100: A Live Celebration, will air on March 19, commemorating the Grand Ole Opry’s 100 years of country music history. The three-hour event, broadcast live from the Opry House and Ryman Auditorium, will feature a lineup of country music stars, past and present.
Among the Opry members set to perform are Ashley McBryde, Blake Shelton, Brad Paisley, Carly Pearce, Carrie Underwood, Clint Black, Dierks Bentley, Garth Brooks, Kelsea Ballerini, Lainey Wilson, Luke Combs, Marty Stuart, Reba McEntire, Trace Adkins, Trisha Yearwood, and Vince Gill.
Additionally, the show will showcase performances from Amy Grant, Eric Church, Jelly Roll, and The War and Treaty. Randy Travis, a beloved Opry member, will also make a special appearance during the broadcast.
Tickets for the live event went on sale Friday, January 31, offering fans the chance to witness this historic celebration in person. The broadcast promises to be a tribute to the Opry’s significant influence on country music and its lasting legacy in the genre’s evolution.
