The Northwood Ramblers is a Southeast Michigan bluegrass band with a love for traditional bluegrass. Band leader Aaron T. Smith, a vocalist and guitarist, comes from a southern family with deep roots in bluegrass, gospel, country, and western swing. He has played music from a young age, forming multiple bands and performing solo throughout Detroit. Aaron founded the Northwood Ramblers in 2015.

Sergi Boyakjon (mandolin/vocals) is a skilled multi-instrumentalist originally from New York, proficient in mandolin, banjo, and guitar.

Tammy White Brescol (bass/vocals) joined the Northwood Ramblers in 2023. A fourth-generation musician, she started singing with her family band, Robert White and the Candy Mt. Express, at age three. Her grandfather, Robert White, was a longtime bluegrass festival promoter in the tri-state area until his passing in 2005.

Jesse Manns (mandolin) is another accomplished multi-instrumentalist from the Detroit area, also skilled in guitar and bass. He has performed with many musicians and led his own band.
