TONTAGANY, Ohio — Downtown Tontogany will come alive August 14-16 as the community celebrates the return of Togany Fest, a three-day festival featuring live entertainment, family activities and hometown traditions.

The festival kicks off Friday evening with live music from Arctic Clam after an opening ceremony led by Mayor Matt Shanahan. Veterans and first responders will receive one complimentary drink during opening night with valid identification.

Saturday’s festivities begin with a community pancake breakfast before the annual parade steps off at 11 a.m. The day also includes food trucks, youth activities, a cornhole tournament, the Otsego FFA Kiddie Tractor Pull, craft beer and wine tasting, bed races and a pie auction. Country artist Johnny Rodriguez performs from 4 to 6 p.m., followed by North of Nashville from 8 to 11 p.m. under the main tent.

The weekend concludes Sunday with a community church service and potluck at Centennial Park Pavilion.

Additional event information, registration details and schedule updates are available on the festival’s website at tontoganyfest.carrd.co and on the Togany Fest Facebook page.
