BOWLING GREEN, Ohio — Fans of The Office will soon get a chance to see one of the show’s most memorable personalities right here in northwest Ohio. Rainn Wilson — the Emmy-nominated actor best known for bringing the eccentric, beet-loving Dwight Schrute to life — is scheduled to appear at Bowling Green State University this spring.
Wilson will headline a live conversation event on April 9, 2026, offering an evening of humor, reflection, and behind-the-scenes stories. BGSU’s Office of Student Engagement says the program will blend moments from The Office, insights from Wilson’s bestselling book Soul Boom, and experiences from his travel series The Geography of Bliss.
Tickets will be available starting Nov. 17 at 10 a.m., and the university expects interest to be high given the actor’s wide fan base and long career.
Beyond his work on the hit NBC sitcom, Wilson has appeared in films such as Juno and Monsters vs. Aliens, as well as the sci-fi series Star Trek: Discovery.
For fans of comedy, television history, or just a good night out, BGSU will be one of the few places to catch Wilson live in 2026.
