The Brick Venue & Pub Opens in McClure

New owners have revived a restaurant in McClure. The Brick Venue & Pub sits at 253 South East Street downtown, directly across from the post office, and is now open.

The restaurant, which serves subs, salads, burgers, wings, desserts, and appetizers, officially opened to the public on August 21. Foodies can also enjoy a selection of beer, seltzers, and signature drinks.

Owners Charissa and Bam Itawi are newly married, from the Toledo area. Bam’s family owns Bambino’s Pizza and has worked for the family business since the age of three. Charissa has a background in marketing, education, and social work.

“We saw a community with no nearby place to sit and eat, drink, and enjoy time that family/friends,” Charissa said. “We wanted to be the people that brought that back to the community.”

The Brick Venue & Pub offers entertainment such as Name That Tune on Wednesdays and Karaoke on Fridays. In the future both owners are looking to add trivia on Tuesday night along with family events on Sundays.

Current hours are 3 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Mondays, 3 p.m. until 12 a.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 3 p.m. until 1 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Closed on Sundays.
