The ghosts of Providence are back for another season at Providence Metropark.
Walking along the towpath at Providence, you’ve probably noticed a makeshift graveyard near the historic canal lock. That’s because the Ghosts of Providence night tours are taking places over the next few weekends.
The ghost town of Providence was plagued with cholera, violence, and multiple fires that burned the town to the ground. Visitors get to experience the stories during this spooky guided lantern tour.
Tours run at multiple times on October 13, 14, 20, and 21. You must purchase tickets online and it’s recommended for those 7 and older.
